Summary: Team 7 passes the Genine exam and starts a new chapter in their lives. After several missions and Naruto's little fit for a harder mission, the Hokage give them a C rank mission. They must protect a bridge builder from gangs and thieves until he finishes building his bridge in the Land of Waves. The bridge builder , Tazuna, fails to mention that a rich crime boss named Gatou wants him dead. Kakashi takes out the first two assassins but considers turning back due to the severity the mission has now become until Naruto stops him. They make it to the Land of Waves but are then stopped by rouge ninja Zabuza Momochi. Zabuza trapped Kakashi but Naruto and Sasuke used teamwork to free Kakashi. Just as Kakashi was about to finish the job, a hunter ninja (Black Op) from the Mist Village takes him out and takes the body away. Team 7 then makes it to Tazuna's home to let Kakashi rest after his battle. His daughter Tsunami takes care of them until Kakashi comes to the realization that Zabuza is still alive and that the hunter ninja was really working for him. Kakashi then gets Naruto, Sakura, and Sasuke ready by training them in chakra training until Kakashi gets at 100%.
New Characters:
Tazuna: The bridge builder of the land of waves. Tazuna is risking his life to create a lifeline for his land and free them from Gatou.
Tsunami: Tazuna's daughter and the caretaker of the house. She's been taking care of Kakashis injuries while he is resting.
Zabuza Momochi: Rouge Ninja from the Hidden Mist Village, one of the resulting ninja from the blood bath village ninja exams. Zabuza has been hired by Gatou to take out Tazuna along with whomever is trying to protect him.
Gatou: Rich crime boss in the land of waves who is threatened by the construction of the new bridge and hired Zabuza to kill the bridge builder before the bridge is finished.
Thoughts: I feel for Tazuna here, he wants to do right thing even though his life is threatened by it. Much respect here. And the fight with Zabuza was intense the teamwork between Sasuke and Naruto was amazing, I understand that Sakura stayed back to protect Tazuna but I felt like she could have done more. I am more curious about this Anbu Black Op that is working for Zabuza, she kinda looks like a kid. I hope our heroes finish their training before we see Zabuza again.
End: Well there you have it Volume 2. I am going to start watch Season 1 Episode 3 and catch up in the anime. If I catch up in the Anime, I might, MIGHT!, draw some of the characters for you. It would be black and white (I have no coloring tools) but it would be something. Well once I finish Episode 3 I will be back, Until then Folks!.
